Rock Climbing in Nepal

We offer climbing exclusively through Hardcore Nepal, Pvt. Ltd. Hardcore Nepal's clients learn to climb at the training grounds of Nepal's Special Forces. Whether you are total beginner, or a rock solid climber, these ascents offer something for everyone. For newbies, we teach you climbing holds, foot placement, and how to feel confident on the rock face. For veterans, take the challenge of chimney climbs, over-hangs, and abseiling. Trips depart daily at 9 a.m. from Kathmandu, Thamel.

Trip Cost: USD 55 per person.

Cost Includes: 1 day climbing (5-6 hours), transportation (to-from Kathmandu), snacks, all climbing equipment, Nepal's best climbing guides.
Not included in trip price: Medical Insurance (clients must have own insurance), personal care items, any extra snacks or food you may want.

Here's what you'll need: One fun-loving attitude; one pair of trainers (sports shoes); comfortable & stretchy clothes (easy to climb in), be sure you can move, but clothes are not so lose they will get caught on rocks; water bottle; sun glasses; sun block; mosquito repellant; camera; personal medication.

Looking for indoor climbing? There are two climbing walls close to Kathmandu center. In Thamel -- Asian Treks Climbing Wall, and near the ring road, Pasang Lhamu Climbing Center.
